Who is KogePan?

Once upon a time, there was bread, which was made from Japan's most expensive red bean. These kind of breads are limited, only twenty of them are sold a day.

But as that little bread happily and proud was waiting to be taken out from the oven, it fell - and when the bread finally was found, it was burnt.

Nobody would buy the burnt bread, and the owner of the bakery dumped him. From that time on the burnt bread was named Kogepan.

After he'd left the bakery, the other breads would look at Kogepan in a way that made him feel that everyone hated him, and thus he came to think of everyone on earth as being cold-blooded.

Kogepan didn't want to live anymore. He became emotionless, his eyes became white, he was feeling lonely, feeling low confident of himself, always run away from home, smoking and drinking milk (= beer; well, to him, it has the same effect).

Kogepan has nothing to occupy him, but sometimes he will go to speak with the pretty breads and teach them about life, just to release some of his stress.

Even though Kogepan doesn't approve of what's around him, he will sometimes read the book of "How to be a delicious bread".
